Living outdoors with the Orla lounge set
Sabine lives with her husband Marco and their little son Dean in the charming town of Driebergen. Every Wednesday, Sabine’s mother, Grandma Bea, takes care of Dean. “When I get back from work, we always have a drink together in the garden or have dinner with the whole family if the weather is nice,” says Sabine. Both Sabine and Marco love being outside, which is why they built a cozy outdoor kitchen. However, they don’t eat outside as often as they’d hoped. “We have a beautiful BBQ, but we really need to use it more often.”
To ensure the whole family spends more time outside this season, our creative director Sanne gave their garden a makeover. The Orla set is a real eye-catcher. Sabine and Marco’s garden already has a lot of character with the beautiful outdoor kitchen, but the luxurious look of the Orla set completes the garden and makes the outdoor kitchen stand out even more. I chose the Orla for this makeover because it’s suitable as both a lounge set and a dining set, thanks to the included coffee table. “I can already see us having drinks here on Wednesdays, making pizza in the outdoor kitchen, and enjoying long dinners. Grandma Bea nods happily: “Also with my husband, with the whole family!”
The Orla is a very classic set that simultaneously looks very modern, making it suitable for any type of garden. The Orla is very easy to maintain. With its aluminum wood-look, the set is easy to clean and keep in good condition, allowing it to stay outside in all weather conditions. Sabine and Marco only need to store the cushions after their meals. “The set really gives a summer feeling; we will definitely be spending a lot of time here.”
