From Recreation Spot to Stylish Hotspot: The Garden Makeover of Beachclub Woody’s in Beusichem

On the shores of the De Meent recreational lake in Beusichem, you’ll now find a true eye-catcher: Beachclub Woody’s. Since the takeover in April last year, the beachclub has been transformed into a stylish meeting place. Thanks to a smart makeover, the terrace has also become a trendy hotspot where guests can unwind in the sun and enjoy a chilled glass of rosé.

Since the reopening, new owners Emma and Daan have heavily invested in the beachclub’s aesthetic—and with great success. With an amazing menu and chic interior, the beachclub has become the local hotspot. Our task was to turn the terrace into a stylish space for guests to relax. Given its waterfront location, we opted for a natural and warm atmosphere with furniture from our latest collection. A variety of lounge sets and coolers gave the terrace a complete makeover—both practical and beautiful.

Stylish and Practical

For the new terrace look, we chose a mix of natural materials with a stylish appearance. Since the furniture will be used frequently and often rearranged by guests, it was essential to go for low-maintenance, practical pieces that are also aesthetically pleasing.

The AXI Aaron garden set with its robust design is a true eye-catcher. The benches made from acacia wood combined with a limestone-look table are perfect for long summer evenings by the water. The blend of sturdy wood and a soft color palette creates a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. The table includes a trough for plants, flowers, or decorations—ideal for larger gatherings or themed evenings.

We also selected the AXI June lounge set. This four-piece set with a bench, two chairs, and a matching coffee table in teak brings a warm, Mediterranean feel to the terrace. The AXI Mary rattan lounge set adds a boho-chic touch. Combined with the sand on the terrace, it creates an instant Ibiza vibe.

To keep drinks perfectly chilled, we searched for the best cooling accessories. Among our extensive selection, the AXI Brandon 2-in-1 bar table/side table & cooler stood out. It doubles as a bar table and a coffee table by simply unscrewing the legs. And most importantly—it has a built-in cooler! Stylish and practical, all in the same limestone look as the Aaron set.
